Sound like he's interested?

okay theres this guy at my school i think is cute but i havent talked to him yet. So i tell my friend i think he's cute and she tells him for me. Heres what happened we were at lunch and me and him and my friend sit at the same table just a little down from eachother so my friend says hey you see that girl over there ( talking about me he was looking at me) and he says yeah what about her and my friend ariel was like you goin holla at her? and he was like man i dont even know her yet. and they started teasing him and everything because he said yet. and they were all laughing and stuff and he was like mann i dont even know her like dat. Does this sound like he might have been embarred> Why????
