I'm sure this has been asked a million times...But it will have to be a million and one now...?

I've heard that you can go ask your local tattoo artist to poke a few holes in you using the tattoo machine (without ink) just so you will know if you can handle the pain. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to ask!
