I had a period but it was so painfull i took tha pill again 2 stop it,but i still have my period..help?

I had a period break in tha pill..but it was so painfull i took the normal pill again to stop it,my period stopped 2 an extent,then i had a few days later,an its started again!..but im still taking the pill
