My first thought is to stop paying the taxes-let the city take it and fight it out with the mortgage company....Talking with a lawyer that deals with bankruptcy is a better first idea though...I am hoping that you formed a LLC or corporation to handle this buildings business which will help protect your other ets....If there is a fire----because of your financial position---you will be a suspect...the penalty for arson is stiff and if a homeless person or fireman is hurt or killed-their blood will be on your hands.
